Re: Part out of 1967 Open Road Camper

Hello,

Read through a bit and was wondering if you still have the under dash AC unit with wiring?

If so does it work and how much are you asking for it?

Thanks

Did the truck originally have bucket seats? If so would you sell the brace under the cab that the front of the seats bolted to?
Thanks

It does work, but I'm planning on using it on another one of my trucks... Sorry.

Thanks

No, I had hoped so, but it either had a bench or buddy buckets on its "creation", from inspection of the underside of the cab.

Best set of original doors I've EVER had. I'm planning on using them on my 1970 gmc that I'm going to swap to all 67 sheet metal. If something happens and I don't use them, I'll post them in a seperate add. They won't go cheap though. Even the vent window rubber is still perfect.

It will be awhile. With the current weather and all my other ongoing projects...and stupid job...I am not really motivated to work on this one outside. It's to big to fit in the garage & close the door...

I'll take a look at them this evening to confirm, but as I remember they are good. I used them to back this monster up into my work area.

I'll let you know tonight.

Thanks

Re: Part out of 1967 Open Road Camper

Chilidawg, I PM'ed you back...

And, Fesser, I looked over the mirrors last night and they seem great to me. There is a little discoloration on the mirror itself on one of the smaller upper mirrors (there are 3 individual mirrors per side), but not enough to affect it being usable. I really don't think the 3rd upper mirror is even original to the mirror sets as it doesn't match the style of the other 2 mirror bodies and the mounting hardware isn't stainless only on them. You can see what I'm talking about in the 1st post pics... It was starting to get dark, so pictures weren't really viable.

Re: Part out of 1967 Open Road Camper

Sounds great. I have a C30 flatbed dump that really needs those. Please let me know how you prefer to be paid and I will get it to you asap. Thanks. Frank

P.S. Just saw the air bag controls under the dash. Is the whole setup on board? What's the deal on those?

The air bag system is intact and completely functional. The bags are HUGE! Big Goodyear bags, small compressor, manual valves & guages (1 for each side), bunch of 1/4" line... but no onboard airtank . It has held 60 psi for months now with no indications of leaking, just fluctuations related to the air temp. That all being said, the bag mounts and rear suspension are CUSTOM. There is no conventional leaf springs or trailing arms. It's hard to describe, but it sure works well.

And on the mirrors, I'd prefer paypal, but money order is fine too...

Re: Part out of 1967 Open Road Camper

Paypal works. I just need your paypal email address.

I had those same valves and similar setup on a K3500 a few years ago. Really nice to have if you run something like a heavy truck camper or a trailer. Good for leveling out the ride. Those valves are super nice because you can change pressure individually on the fly.
