Re: Lets see them 67-72 Projects!

I'm getting it together, sure hope to have it running by April 1st.

5.3, PT7675CEA, 4L80E, 9" w/3.25, PTC Converter

This pic was taken last year. I drove it a ton, and with newfound reliable power I intend to drive it even more in 2015. This truck quickly became a favorite vehicle of mine.

If it runs like this...I'll be glad I've got 4 wheel disc brakes!

Re: Lets see them 67-72 Projects!

Here's mine. 67 short stepper. I'll be running a modified 350/700r combo. Stock rear. 6lugger discs up front. 4.5 / 4 inch drop. No chrome and will be painting back to stock. believe it or not thats the original paint on the fire wall. polished up real nice. (notice the white pillars. odd for a 67 but its the og paint) also going to run 15x10 steelies and 15x6 steelies in the front. added brake booster p steering, hei and 3 wire alt. Its getting there but with a busted ankle its gonna take longer than I epected. bummer

Re: Lets see them 67-72 Projects!

oh shes always in the garage with me, i had her scraping the glue from the windshield gasket the other day. taught her how to change a tire. (on the 4 wheeler) and shell jump in the front seat with her little friend and theyll pretend to drive to the mall or the grocery store. shell make the roaring engine sounds too while pretending to drive. i love it.

Re: Lets see them 67-72 Projects!

Here is my 1971 I drove home for 1000$. It's a hunting/Lowe's truck for now, and next year it will be a frame off resto. I plan on a LS1 swap, lower stance, and paint. It has some rust, but not much so I have a good excuse to buy a welder finally!

Saw this truck on CL for a while and glad to see it fell into good hands! Looking forward to see progress pics in the future!

Ask and you shall receive.

Painted the inside of my cab last weekend where I grafted on a new roof and cab back. My bodyman made the surgery disappear. Looks better than factory now.
