Re: Front suspension parts, side saddle tanks, headers, an engine?
Updated the OP, lowered some prices, tried to make it easier to read.
Burnitg: I called UPS and the tanks must be triple bagged with each bag sealed, and then they must be boxed. I'll have to dig around a bit to get a box to fit them. The shipping quote may change a bit as the dimensions will be larger. There's no hazmat fee or anything, they'll just go regular ground so I imagine it will only be $50 instead of $40 or something like that. I'll just charge you whatever I get charged. |

Re: Front suspension parts, side saddle tanks, headers, an engine?
Has anyone heard from the OP? He was online as recently as yesterday afternoon. My offer for the middle seat belt set stands.

Looks like shipping is going to run $18. Call it $90 total. Paypal is fine, Deceptor101@gmail.com. I can ship it out tomorrow. I haven't been able to search for boxes very hard for the tanks. I would very much like to get rid of them though, so Burnitg if you'll be patient with me, I'll continue working on it. |

I'm willing to wait. I would like to have them delivered before June 1 though. Is that practical?

Re: Front suspension parts, side saddle tanks, headers, an engine?
Still struggling to find a way to box them up. You don't happen to have access to a commercial location with a forklift do you? LTL-ing a pallet would be super easy and only a bit more expensive, but that's if its a commercial address where they don't have to use a liftgate.

Re: Front suspension parts, side saddle tanks, headers, an engine?
I bought it rebuilt from Rockauto in August 2013, but it didn't get many miles on it before I parked the truck to start the real project. Probably no more than 500, it should be good to go.
Looks like shipping should run around $18, although that's estimating box size. |

Re: Front suspension parts, side saddle tanks, headers, an engine?
Have you considered shipping via Fastenal? Several board members use them to ship large/bulky items. There are a couple of Fastenal stores convenient to me - one in Golden, the other in Boulder.

Re: Front suspension parts, side saddle tanks, headers, an engine?
I've got a Fastenal near me as well, but I've never used them before. I sent them a shipping request, so we'll see what they say.

Re: Front suspension parts, side saddle tanks, headers, an engine?
Welp
"Unfortunately, we cannot ship into the state of Colorado at this time. We are at our freight max capacity and cannot haul any outside freight. I am sorry to decline this request." I can do LTL with my company, but it would be around $125 to a commercial address where they don't need to lift-gate it. Otherwise residential is usually $50, as is lift-gate service. Sorry I jumped the gun on getting you a ups quote so early. I should have looked into what it would realistically take, rather than just assume bare minimum measurements. If you can find a commercial place who will unload with a forklift, I'll still do $200 total. |
