Yes internal regulator, that the black tab and this is 85amp not stock 62amp

Is it a working alternator or just a good core and will it fit stock 1971 350 brackets?

Works good, only six months old. Went to serpentine set up and was on 350 1969 4x4 suburban

No the gears are backwards, that's why its not on mine. It was mounted on a t221.
