Re: NOS parts prices vs SWB values

I was just thinking with NOS parts prices what they are that the trucks should be higher in value as well.

Re: NOS parts prices vs SWB values

There are still plenty of good deals to be had on clean original paint trucks right now, but that is rapidly changing. As the supply diminishes, and people compare costs of restoring and painting one those unmolested gems will climb in value.

Keith is correct about the Squarebody Syndicate build fueling the fire. Joes has been building nice trucks for a while now, but this build changed the game all together. There have been some amazing custom builds recently, but none like what Joe has put together.

Regarding high NOS parts, its being driven by the Middle Eastern buyers that are obsessed with the 73-87 trucks, especially GMCs. Combine that with no one reproducing these parts yet, and you have a sellers market.

Re: NOS parts prices vs SWB values

I also should have held out to sell my 78 Big 10 short bed, 454, TH400, factory air, posi truck. I myself have gotten out of the old stuff and more into the newer rigs (99-06). I would love to find a 99-02 regular cab, short bed.
