Re: New member 67 GMC SB wideside 4x4
Does it have 15s or the optional 16" wheels/tires? '67 was the lowest production of 67-72s and all SWB 4wds, either bed Chevy/GMC, are some of the lowest production models. Break out Widesides from Fendersides and you'd be in the lower hundreds. GM kept no statistics on how options, but figuring in less common options can make it all the more rare. Fancy 4wds were slowly coming around, but '67 was only a small step farther into it than previous years

Yes it does have the 16-inch wheels,6-lug and is currently sitting on what appears to be original tires 650x16 very weather checked. The build sheet says 650x16 6R TTRO |

Re: New member 67 GMC SB wideside 4x4
The VIN should be on the top of the frame under the drivers side door area or possibly on the top of the frame by the steering box.
The V6 has the engine model and serial number stamped on the block pad in front of the head behind the fuel pump I have a 68 4x4 swb 305 v6 4 speed no spid but I do have the protectOplate |

Re: New member 67 GMC SB wideside 4x4
I think it is a Fremont built truck, the VIN code is "Z".
