Re: New project 66 k20
Possible left side options based on what is on your truck:
P13 Side mount spare F76 Hubs Z53 Gauges So, if you count what we think is one of the three optional generators, that leaves one unidentified option to go... maybe. Hope that helps. |

Re: New project 66 k20
Very helpful Jocko, I can't really tell what generator it would be because it has an alternator so I guess I will just have to pick something also do you think the mirrors would be on there I know it has Factory Long shank swinging mirrors but I don't know if that's standard I've seen a lot of them with West Coast style I was kind of happy to see the half of it that the previous owner gave me referring to the spid, it's a fun old truck

Re: New project 66 k20
It would have come with an alternator, they just used the term Generator still, but they were indeed alternators - so it's possible you still have the original, but who knows - pretty common item to replace. Might research any part numbers on it and see if it turns up an amp rating - then you could at least reasonably assume what RPO it was originally. A bit of a guessing game still though - unless you can determine it's the original.
I'm not that familiar with the swinging arm mirrors, but I don't see any other holes in your doors or window frames - so maybe they are original - and note all the swing arms, regardless of length, are D32s. West Coast Jr and Sr would have been D29 and D30, respectively. Don't think yours came with em though - the west coast style. They were also optional, not standard. Standard for your truck would have been a single left hand only 6.25" fixed arm mount. So there should be an RPO on your SPID for something mirror-related, no matter how you slice it. |

Re: New project 66 k20
Thumbs up on getting that owners manual!
Original or not I think the mirrors look good on the truck.
