I became an addict when my father gave me a 72' for my first vehicle, since then I just can't give them up. I get rid of one, or get in a real bad wreck with one, within weeks I find another. I have had my 68' for the last 16yrs and have no plans to part with it. I'll just contiue to add parts to it.

I was 17 when I got my first 71 (man was that a long time ago). Brought it out with me from NY so it had a few rust issues. Still have that truck although it now has a new cab, bed, motor, tranny etc. Frame and rear are still the same though. I've had a few others but this one will stay near and dear for a long time to come. However there is no way I'm addicted. Nope, none at all.

Was that the sub from Sneed, Al? Any close ups of the attachment of the tow bar to the frame? Over all length of the tow bar? Blazer then a long horn & a panel, then you might be officially addicted. (I might should remove my signature, before someone puts me on a 12 step plan.)

I have always wanted an old chevy truck and it always seemed that there was an excuse everytime that I came across a great deal, that money needed to go elsewhere.
Now that I have my 72 cheyenne super ,it seems that I am willing to invest in it more than my house or anything else. When I get some extra cash the first thing that I think of is buying parts to restore the truck. My wife kinda gets pissed , but it has been good therapy for me lately.lets face it, its better than being addicted to crack!

I had a tow bar once...well still do... made up some tow lights too. Mine can move the arms too for those slightly massaged front ends. Wrecks to some people...lol.
I think the tow truck put me way over the top.... I now have to convince others its just a mild addiction...lol.
