This may be a dumb question but why does everyone use oven cleaner? Does it work better than brake cleaner or engine degreaser?

Idon't know about you GreyHoundSteve but have you ever seen what EasyOff does for ovens. I swear that stuff will eat up just about anything. That's what I bought to clean off my motor. I have yet to use it yet though.
