Re: What parts aren't out there?
I would like to see fleetside rear section with the tail light pockets. I have two trucks that are dented in that area, and it is a pain to hammer them out

Re: What parts aren't out there?
I read through the whole thread, and only saw a few, but can attest to the need for a Blazer quarter!! There are a lot of Blazers that got cast aside do to lots of rust in the quarters that could be brought back to life with a repop!! The short fleet steel floor, and if you want to be inovative how about a never was short step steel floor, I'd convert in a heartbeat!!

Re: What parts aren't out there?
All are great ideas.
I don't have much to add except, maybe: another vote for the '67-'68 grilles, 3rd brakelight, fender vents, (to reduce under hood temps, and aesthetics??) cold-air intake holes in radiator support, gauge pod pillars, (just throwing stuff out there) |

Re: What parts aren't out there?
i have two:
1) The pedal support structure inside the firewall (it's spot welded in). Picture: http://satellitehead.com/gallery/dis...354&fullsize=1 -- maybe a complete patch panel pre-spot welded for this area of the firewall would suffice? 2) Shaved cowl. What's the status?

Or at least bed floor patch panels that match the rib spacing contours.

Battery boxes, the one I bought from Year One has holes that don't line up with the radiator support at the vertical support on the rad supp. Regards

i already posted a place you can get them cheap. search the forum for 'auxillary battery' and you should find it.

Re: What parts aren't out there?
is there a difference between the one for 67-68 and the one for 69-72? i found that i couldn't use the stock aux battery tray in my '68 because the 67-68 and 69-72 trucks use a very diff't core support with holes and braces in diff't locations.

Re: What parts aren't out there?
I put an OEM '72 battery tray in my '67 (the normal passenger side tray). Maybe it's just the aux ones that are different?

Re: What parts aren't out there?
Could be. I am not 100% sure, hence the question. I don't see how it could be different since 3 bolts hold it to the inside of the core support opening, 1 to the inner fender and ...what, one or two hold it on the other side? I forget. haven't used a passenger side tray in a while

Re: What parts aren't out there?
I had mine off a couple months ago, there's 3 along the side of the support by the radiator and two on the passenger side near the fender (one top, one bottom bolt), and one in the inner fender..
I've actually never seen an aux one in person...

Re: What parts aren't out there?
No, I bought your heater box, might be what you are thinking about. I think I can save mine, had just noticed you can't find them new. If mine can't be saved, I'll ping you to see if you still have them.

Re: What parts aren't out there?
Aux is not much different, quite honestly. it uses the exact same tray piece, and the part that mounts along the fender side is the same IIRC (just inversed), the only diff'ce is the bar used to fasten it to the side of the core support closest to the radiator is different. i have pics of mine somewhere around here.
