51 Had my blue C20 for 9 months, then sold it to a gentleman who was 80.
Said he wanted a nice truck to put in his 30 x 50 garage. I bought the red C10 a few days after christmas last year. Both were craigslists trucks. The blue one was to clean to put any plywood or tree branches in it, so i sold it. The red one is good from about 10 feet. All the high school guys in the neighborhood want to know when i'm going to sell it to them. It's got a later 350 with an overdrive manual NP 4 speed in it.

I am 43 and born 5/6/66 so naturally I have a '66. I have had many 67-72 body styles over the years but this is my first '66 K10 to build.

OK I thought I posted this but guess not,
I am 46 as of March 26th, I was born in 63 so I had to get a 63, and it is fitting that it is a C20 as I am a little hefty as well. I had a 62 Shortbed when I was 21, actually it was the wifes, and I think I married her to get her truck, so when she figured that out she made me sell it. So not much longer after that I bought a 63 from a neighbor, and when she made me sell that one, I sold it to my dad, who gave it to my brother, I figured I could get it back some day, no dice. So I ditched that wife, and when I re-married, I told the new wife that she goes before the cars do. So now I have a 66 tempest in the backyard (complete car but very ruff future GTO clone), a 68 firebird in the garage (also complete car won't take much to restore), and a 70 baja bug in storage (85% finished but put on hold while I finish the C20), and she hasn't run away yet, so I guess I will keep her. |

I bought mine when we (my truck and I) were 25 but that was 23 years ago.Just drove it 160 miles round trip for a show.Never get tired of her.

I always say I'm only as old as I feel and most days that's right about 25, 18 on Friday night and 75 on Saturday morning. My birth certificate says 31, but I never listen. Oh, had my 64 for 3 years now. Just starting the frame off.

I am Dan and I am 38. I bought my 66 LWB a couple of years ago from the father-in-law. It is a lot rougher than it looks. I plan to build the truck with and for my boy who just turned 10. The build will start in a couple of months.
