Are these the stock steel wheels? Running drum brakes still? Spacers?

Re: Calling All Steelies - Caps and Otherwise...
I kinda like them too.
I found them out in my father-in-law's barn. They don't look to have ever been ran. They are late 60's Ford.

Baby moons. Very popular in the 60's.

Re: Calling All Steelies - Caps and Otherwise...
I am looking for center caps for my 66 C10. I am running truck wheels with those eBay clips. I wanted to run the disc brake center caps, but the disc brake hub sticks out too far to run them. What are my options with this set-up?
Also, my clearance may be more than 2" since I measured from the center of the clip (see tape measure end). Thank you. Tom Jenkins |

Kept the stock look but used old Blazer 15x7 steelies.

Re: Calling All Steelies - Caps and Otherwise...
A guy who is about 50 miles from me runs a business called "Scotty's hubcaps". He is no relation to me - I've just bought hubcaps from him in the past. He's go these up on Buffalo Craigslist for 64-66 Chevy Trucks if anyone is interested.

Re: Calling All Steelies - Caps and Otherwise...
Does anyone have a picture of the back side of a Sombrero center cap?
I have a 66 C10 with Disc brakes. The front hub sticks out too far to use the smaller Disc Brake center caps. So I bought the 1952 larger caps. They are deeper, but also bigger diameter. They hit the face of the wheel before they clip in. I bought these clips to use the Sombrero caps, but hoping to use the larger caps I just got today. I'm wondering if I can just put washers behind the clips? Keep adding washers until the clips snap in place? Thank you. Tom Jenkins |
