Re: My Facetruck thread.

My kids own an apartment house that sits on the spot where I went to grade school. I own the building my mother went to school in. It's apartments now too.

The middle, Jr high and high school I attended, are all boarded up.

Well, thanks for 'just sayin'".

Were you aware I finished that truck 30 years ago?

I don't think I have ever posted the interior pictures of my red and white truck. Those wood grain door panels are originals, not reproductions.

Did you tip your tour guide? I thought it was odd that they took my shoestrings

Ok, I could talk all day about my usedtas. I don't have an Iwish accent but I have a lot of it in my history

How long do you anticipate it will take to find her?

Of course picked the hottest day to go out on the motorcycles. But the roads were empty as was the restaurant we stop at. Good burgers and cold beer

One of the few thing s good about all this is the reduced traffic. Looks like a good time.

Re: My Facetruck thread.

Air quality is noticeably better this summer due to this... thing. No grey haze, every day has a blue sky and white clouds or none at all. It's a dang heat wave but fairly tolerable, It's hotter inside w/o a/c than outside I've noticed. Today there was a nice breeze blowing. Early is great. At first, with this heat wave, the mornings were low to mid-60s. But now it's inched up to beginning the day above 70. Still the best part of the day. Evenings cool right off, so second best.

Cold beer and a good burger sound great. So does a road trip, I’m due for a change of scenery.

Me too! But I have to work, so working back on the 1915 cedar cottage on the Severn River near Annapolis I worked on last year will have to do. I "invited" my son to come along to experience the other Maryland, "Land of Pleasant Living". I don't need another hand but I'll keep him busy. Then maybe a beer and crabs and sleep over. He has to be back up the road by 10 am Wed.

That's copper screen in the 3rd picture

Then this weekend I (we) hope to get up to the mountains to see my mom and get another change of scenery.

I was up on South Mt yesterday in PA at a friends, about the same distance away (about 50 miles) as the job tomorrow. That was nice. Maryland is Little America. I haven't been to the ocean for years, but hopefully I'll get down to see Richard 2717 and get my toes into salt water. My son has been already this year
