Re: What did you do to your truck today part II.
Took this pile of parts and got the front suspension mostly installed, complete with 2" drop springs. Major milestone. Please ignore the incorrectly installed steering components Mostly just had to get it back on its wheels before I left town. Shout out to Captainfab for his power steering adapter, quality part that is easy to install.

Ordered my two barrel carb and spacer/adapter from Langdon's Stovebolt. I'm getting ready for the Good-Guys car show next weekend in Ft. Worth.

Picked up poplar boards for my bed. And the ups man brought me new bolts and windshield gasket for the new trim.

Re: What did you do to your truck today part II.
Got my Burb into the shop for a couple more patch panels. I wasn't going to but decided better to do it right. Not half assed. They are borderline of needing it.

Re: What did you do to your truck today part II.
Nothing done...... BUT
Great surprise when I got home today. Post man was here.... Envelope from Georgia containing some number plates for my collection. Specialist plate Historic Automobile, and also the Bahamas plate. BUT THE BEST WAS TO COME OUT THE ENVELOPE. An original December 1965 Chevy C10 brochure from Todd Scott. Thanks Buddy !!

Cut my boards today and put one coat of the linseed oil on. This little project has taken over my shop!

Hung out with lt1burb and went picking at "the honey hole" scored a fan shroud, some more sail panels and script valve covers and some 62 headlight bezels to hang in the garage.
He scored an entire truck taken apart in 1980

Re: What did you do to your truck today part II.
We finally had a day above freezing so I drove my truck the parts store a mile down the road. It felt so good to drive it I kept going. I ended up putting 50 miles on her just cruising around.
