I believe its Bock Products out of Elkhart Indiana. I haven't been able to find any info on them or other trucks they built.

Bock Products, Inc. (Elkhart, IN)

Leading manufacturer of heavy duty rectangular structural tubing.

Sold to: Bull Moose Tube Co. Subsidiary (St. Louis, MO), of Caparo Industries Plc., (London, England)

No contacting them I guess.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

The address that's on the warranty sheet is now or was home to Monaco Coach Corp. The earliest info that was in the truck has it in Grand Rapids Michigan. It came up to Ontario in 2002.Kinda cool seeing the history of the truck.

Man that thing is a damn nice truck.

It seriously needs an intercooler though, running a diesel with out an intercooler is something I feel is universally stupid because you are giving away power and economy.

Although you can fab up custom hydroboost pump brackets, or buy some.

On this truck you can get a hydraboost that will bolt in. Usually that is what the crew cabs came with, I am suprised this one did not.

Are you sure? It is a pre 6.2 truck, I dont think they used hydroboost before the 6.2.

Yep, I junked a 77 with a hydraboost, and there is no way some one spent the money to convert that turd of a truck.

It was an old airforce truck that rusted out real bad, became a donor for its 205 and dana 60. the rest wasnt worth saving.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

Ah ok. It could have been a special order for the air force, considering how the US Military likes to order the weirdest things imaginable. And some actually make sense. Oddly.

I dont think so, it is my understanding that in the era of the late 70's you started seeing more people traveling longer distances pulling larger trailers behind thier pickups. People had to get creative to survive, and thus they were trying to get the most out of the brakes, thus the upgrade to hydraboost was a logical choice, and became standard equipment on the camper special trucks, along with trucks with a GVWR of 10,000 lbs.

the SRW crew cab has a 9200 lb GVWR if memory serves.
