Re: How about some pics of 73-87 Long Beds?

Thanks it was a lot of fun for a few years. I put it back on springs and let my son drive it for his senior year and it ended up with more torn up than I wanted to fix so I pulled everything useable off of it and scrapped the rest.

Thanks raji2pac ! yes! you're right ! this generation of Chevy and GMC trucks are The most abundant American trucks in Iran.
but many of them destroyed by government for supporting Iranian car (rubbish!) factories.
I hate all of Iranian cars from 1980 to now! I love American cars.

Re: How about some pics of 73-87 Long Beds?

This truck is restored now! I will post some pics of it after restoration in future.

yes , here, people like step sides more than fleet sides, because they have more classic look than fleet sides ! for example, when people want a car for restore, they looking for an step side ! or they change the fleet side bed of the truck with the step side one!

True ! , but me personally i love the fleetside's but both are cool ! stepside's are very common in gulf countries and they're all in red color , is there some dually version's in Iran ?

Re: How about some pics of 73-87 Long Beds?

You're right about color! most of them are red!

the only seen dually with fleet side bed is this crew cab and one step side long bed dually. but there are many duallies as tow truck (factory or hand made) and heavy haulers which haul iron beams and etc , and some are as dumpers. but can't know about the original bed type of that trucks. (I'm sorry for posting crew cab pic in this thread)

Re: How about some pics of 73-87 Long Beds?

I have a 1980 Chevy 292 I-6 4 Speed Manual F44 C10 that I am working on now. about to drop an 1973 GMC 3/4 Super Custom Bed on the back with Duel tanks. I have possi in the rear so this rig does alright in mud. It seems to out do a bunch of the the Jeeps that my buddies ride with, Other then that She pretty sweet. I finaly removed the 33x14.50 Baja Mickey Thompson's off my truck.
