Re: 65 Fairlane pro-touring build
I was thrilled to see him go this route. The original charge tube I welded from an aluminum donut was so thin I worried that the first time he built any boost, it would blow a hole right thru it. The 3D printed one is 1/8" thick everywhere and will survive anything he throws at it. I'm glad to see him get back on the GTO project. After we mounted the turbo and built all the plumbing, he had the exhaust installed and trailered it home. It sat in his garage with almost zero love until he moved to Denton this summer. Then he blew up the LS in his Cougar and was reduced to driving the Mazda truck. He's building a Godzilla for the Cougar, but nothing motivates a hotrodder like being on foot.
