Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks
here are my trucks. the lowered one is a 66 sb I purchased in 1989. it came with a 327 3 speed posi.
it currently has a 454 th350 ford 9 inch 4w disc brakes. the grey one is a body stuck on a 78 3/4 ton 4x4 chassis. it has a 454 th400 both are driven regularly. the last picture is some spare parts I picked up a few years ago, and I just like the picture.yes everything in the row is 60-66, and yes, I took it all home

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks

1. Make your first priority buying a decent digital camera. It doesn’t need to be expensive or fancy. Then take pictures of “everything”. Upload the pictures to a computer and back them up on a usb pen, CD, or whatever. Take photos of exactly how it looks as purchased, and as you disassemble every piece. The pics are invaluably helpful when it comes to reassembly, and is generally what people miss the most after they’ve owned the rig for 20 years and never took any pictures of what it looked like when they started out. 2. Write down a plan of what you want the truck to look like when finished, and fundamental steps to get there. It can be expensive and discouraging when you get started on impulse thinking, and realize later something has to be done over or changed completely. Good luck. |
