Most the time, when I see the bigger wheels on these trucks, it doesn't really look right to me.
The stance you have with those 18's - I like the whole look.

It appears that you have 15" wheels, how close are you to the scrub line with 2 inch blocks?

Re: Post Pics of your Static Drops!!

I have only had my '64 for a month and plan on lowering the rear a little more. Rear tires are around 27.5" on 15" wheels.

I know it has drop spindles on front but don't know if anything has been done to the rear.

Re: Post Pics of your Static Drops!!

Here is mine - just put new rear shocks in (belltechs) and rear shock relocators since the ride was bumpy. Still a little rough so might need to do blocks and proper springs. Will take pictures to help clarify it looks like t=just cut springs causing this.

Re: Post Pics of your Static Drops!!

looks like stock arms due to the crud buildup but I may be wrong, this would mean I have lowering springs up front? If so I would like to do it proper with drop spindles at some point - anyone see something different?

Looks like stock arms and spindles in the front along with stock CUT springs. Based on the what I see in the photos, I don't think anyone put dropped springs in the front.

It does look like it could use a good scrubbing...

haha thanks - posted this in the general section as well and got similar response. I am guessing a proper drop spring would make the ride better or no?
Thanks again

62 with a 78 disc front end, LS/4l60E swap.
4" lowering coils in rear, 2-1/2" drop spindles with 1-1/2 coils cut...
Tires are rollers (junkie) maybe some knows the amount of drop for 1-1/2 coils?

Hey, what size are those tires and wheels? I'm in the market, and am trying to get some ideas. Thanks.
