White walls are cool, especially with gypsies. But you ain't got a hair on your cajones if you don't get a set of these Highlander Plaid balonies:

I take it you were only wanting the chassis? Body looks pretty rough!

Re: How To: Ruin a Perfectly Good K/5
Yeah, it's pretty much shot. Frame is good as well as the top, hardware, front seats, and some other misc items. There may be some salvageable body parts to cut out for patches. Still figuring out what I want to do with it, but it's a fo-realz '72 2-wheeler.

Part of me agrees with you. I had thought of doing a PB'd, patina'd roadster (it's hugger under the black), but the body is just too rough. CST, Highlander, 2wd? <-- I like this idea! Hm, what kind of stuff do you need?

I see a "highlander version" of Curt Hill's blazer.
Extreme Dropmember Coilover/4-link chassis,...

You should do whatever makes you happy. Funny thing is I could have picked one up for a song back in the late 80s. My Bro in law had a 72 all original that needed some rust repair. But it was 2wd original ochre special. Hind sight is 20-20. |

Just think, if you had picked up that 2wd in the eighties, it would have probably ended up pro-street, tubbed, monochrome teal, with a pink heartbeat stripe and grey tweed interior!

Awesome score I vote body swap too. Bagged and tuckin some TT2's sounds like a great plan.
