Re: Trucks in the Wild
Nice truck. That really makes me want to finish my 55' and that looks like Summit fire's parking lot. More of that snow on the way!

Re: Trucks in the Wild
Ok, looks like my kind of topic! Is the purpose to take pictures of other trucks, or can we post ours far away from civilization?

Re: Trucks in the Wild
Good eye! Yup, that's where I work. I've seen your blue truck heading up and down hwy. 89 many times! After about 4" of snow, this truck turns into a snow plow, so I may be in trouble by the time I get off work on Thursday!

Re: Trucks in the Wild
I see this blazer a lot on nice days. On crappy weather days there’s a very clean 24 valve ram in the same spot.

That said, I can't complain about awesome shots away from civilization either. I guess the main thing is, post picture of trucks that look cool, but not overly edited or showy. (also, I'm no moderator, so it's not like I'm going to do anything to punish someone for being off topic.)

Re: Trucks in the Wild
I happened to catch this beauty and assumed it was a fresh restoration. I was lucky enough to stop next to the gentleman at a red light and we had a quick conversation. This truck is in fact a garage find that he recently acquired. A 1969 C10 with 64,000 miles and original paint and said it ran like a top. He was on his way to get new tires, and he plans to take the truck to the Goodguys car show tomorrow at Texas Motor Speedway so anyone going please get more pics. I mentioned the forum to him in hopes he will join! Sorry for the neck cramp.

Re: Trucks in the Wild
I'm going to try and get some of my truck in the pictures. Traffic was not cooperating (as in getting the heck out of my way). I've seen this one around Prescott.

Re: Trucks in the Wild
Here's one I saw while out plowing snow this morning.
I spoke to the guy and he bought this '72 new! Sadly, he broke something ou n his axle, trying to rock himself out of being stuck in the snow.

Re: Trucks in the Wild
Saw this beauty today while getting a set of tires. Owner was real cool to talk to. V-6 replaced with a 292. Power steering, nicely done dual exhaust.

I think Alaska would qualify as wild. There only original once and I've been struggling with restore or leave as is.

If it was mine I would hammer and dolly the drip rail above the windshield so you don’t get water puddling there. Then scotch brite and clear the entire truck, bumpers included. If it wasn’t red I’d say leave it alone but the red will only keep getting lighter without something over it and it’ll make it deeper
