You could have said "enough" instead on "many" to cover bucketloads.

Yup. Slim pickin's is right. I was eating lunch in my favorite little Mexican restaurant and this gorgeous blonde walked in for take out. My first thought was "Where the heck did you come from'?

Actually that wasn't my first thought.

Re: Random pictures that you did not take.

I’ve been looking for this car for years . Not the actual car (would be nice ) but one like it . That’s my mom the house is the one I grew up in until age 13 the left picture. My dad built it in 1960 .The second is in front of my uncles shop

That looks to be a 54 Mark with the continental kit and all the trim. And 1st year for the y block v8 I believe. CrestLine rings a bell.

Close it’s a 53 my dad kept the registration for just about every car he ever owned . The last one I missed was at Hershey Pa a red Crestline sun liner went for 44k .

I have titles saved. The first couple vehicles I sold I couldn't find the title and filed for a duplicate. Then I found the titles each time. I got in the habit of filing for duplicate once I decided to sell. I don't know what good they are, just a thing I decided to do

Just sentimental value. Once a replacement title is issued the prior one is void. Dad never kept titles on the 73 and newer cars but he kept the registrations

Yep, just sentimental value. I flip through them from time to time to reminisce.

This picture of me was taken just a few years ago while we were on my 50th birthday ride through the Smokey Mt. region. It's not about me, it's about the cool truck!

Sorry about that last picture. If your computer still works, check this one out.

Bridge built in the 1700s over the Youghiogheny River on the National Pike, America's first national hiway. For flood control a dam was built and the bridge is now submerged in the reservoir. US40 in the background, second picture

Re: Random pictures that you did not take.

In 1973 I did a three month thrash to get my 48 ready to go to the 1973 NSRA street rod Nationals in Tulsa. This photo was by a guy who goes by Carnut and has posted photos from a lot of shows on the net.

My truck is the Gold 48 back behind the car he was taking the photos of in a real photobomb

The other photo is of a painting that a woman did of the killing of Owhi. Chief Owhi was my 5 times back great grandfather on my mom's side. He had led an uprising against the soldiers and settlers in what is now Central and Eastern Washington.

I almost accepted it but I paid all that money so I could just drop a new motor and get riding.

Great first pictures. I was 18 in '73. A great era for street rodding. Love those chrome slots that were so popular. I always liked the aluminum slots better but they should reproduce those again like most other popular wheels from back then. They could be a cheaper alternative. not the concern for rust these days with the cool stuff being garage queens.

Second picture, a sad and dark chapter in US history.

And now for another old cycle photo. How about an XR750? I'll be watching some of these wonderful machines compete tomorrow at The Barbara Fritchey Classic flat track races in Frederick, MD tomorrow. Always held on the 4th, same as the original celebration before we started altering our national holidays. It's the oldest continuously run motorcycle race in America... many enthusiasts know nothing about. It's the only race run on the horse track at the Great Frederick Fair fairgrounds. not even horse racing anymore. There are sulky race horses kept in the stables and the track used for practice. The 4th for me is about US history and this is how I celebrate!
