What are your wheel and tire specs? great looking truck. Just bought a truck with similar drop. I think it sits to low but your truck looks great.

Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's

my 69 c20 unfortunately has heated coils all the way around sitting on bump stops. going to go with a 4/5 or 3/5 drop from cpp hopefully soon not sure yet on what amount I want to drop because I don't want to notch it and drop spindles aren't in the budget at the moment. I love the stance it has now but its rubbing on the UCA's on the front end.

Sorry just realized this is for c10s. its been a long day forgive me. I hope its ok becoase there's not any c20 threads like this.

Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's

For more than 4 in the back I would suggest notches. and you will also need an adj trac bar for 4 or more in the rear.

And your C20 is welcome here. I like the way it looks, kinda sux that all the springs are heated though.

I can't wait 'til this server change is done. These pics are ridiculously small now. Nice looking truck kerrdog. Wish it was a larger pic though.

Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's

Ok I'm really a noob when it comes to lowering my 1970 c10. What is exactly a static drop? I would like to lower my truck and some one suggested a 5'' up front and a 6'' in the rear. They said it would get the truck low and level, front and back. Could I do a 2.5'' spindle with a 2'' coil up front, if there are 2'' coil available. and I know there are rear kits for the 6'' drop. I also plan on converting the 6 lug set up in the rear to 5 on 5. I've searched all over the threads, but some of the information got me a little confused. Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks

It will be low enough where you need to make sure you can still use the truck for all the duties you need and drive the truck on all the roads you need to drive on. A 5" in front looks great, but on a practicality level, is very very low. Could I do a 2.5'' spindle with a 2'' coil up front, if there are 2'' coil available. and I know there are rear kits for the 6'' drop. It is the best way to do a "static" drop and maintain some of your suspension geometry. If you want to convert to 5 lug up front, you will want to order 5 lug specific drop spindles and get the correct braking hardware. I've searched all over the threads, but some of the information got me a little confused. Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks
