Re: Dirty Dianah (No)... Bagged 72 Stepside/LSx/T56

For some reason, I thought we were going to be in NC...I definitely want to be there for that. I guess I need to read up on details. (Boy time flies!)

The wiring phase. Look closely, you will see we were able to create a custom fusebox/relay center panel. This is strong enough to stand on .

Re: Dirty Dianah (No)... Bagged 72 Stepside/LSx/T56

Everything is secure - fabbing new intake today. All of the ones that are store bought won't satisfy our needs.

Back on Casters.
Radiator mounted, Fusebox and PCM mounted. Confirmation that full clearance is there when laid out

Clearance when laid out

New fittings so that we can run air lines to the ViAir gauges in the cockpit. Once that is done, will clean this up. At some point we will remove the 3/8 line and replace it with hardlines.

Back to the lift so we can run the air lines to the gauges.

Been a few days since my last update. I figured that a picture says a thousand words....but a video says even more.

Take a look:

Re: Dirty Dianah (No)... Bagged 72 Stepside/LSx/T56

Thanks guys!

Mike, I know...I got the majority of those wires in the engine bay routed and hidden today. I had to order the barb for the brake booster from the local Chevy dealership. Part number is 12559760

Re: Dirty Dianah (No)... Bagged 72 Stepside/LSx/T56

Progress update:

Wired up dash gauges. Tach works, new air gauges work, key-on ignition works.
Cleaned up wires under hood, fusebox is in place, coolant is in, motor idles great. Need to plumb oil and water temp, wire up electric fans (installed), polish intake, install seat brackets and seats.
