Where did you score the smooth fuel rail covers? I want smooth ones to paint. Did you hydrodip that intake yourself? My intake had some damage I repaired and it needs cleaned so I'm thinking of hydrodipping it too. Last question, I see you have the LS1 plate on top of the intake. Is that for your EGR block off? I want one for my intake but my LS6 doesn't have an EGR so there is no way to attach it..

thanks

I got the smooth rail covers from Street & Performance in Arkansas. I had someone here locally dip my intake. And yes the plat is the egr block off also from Street & Performance.

What kind of mileage are you getting with that setup?

The best I've got so far was 14 mpg. The lowest was 8 mpg. Might get a little better once I get the carb tuned and if I keep my foot out of it.

Thanks, Bud!

They are the Pacesetter Trail Blazer SS headers. Didn't have to trim a thing. Only issue is where they end is going to be fun for the piping of the exhaust. Kind of close to the tranny x-member.

Solving the problem is half the fun!

We will have to get together sometime.

Are those the DD VHX gauges? How do you like them? Work we'll with the LS setup?

Good News. They are the only gauges I have found that I like for this project.

It's actually an aluminum colored rustoleum rattle can from O'Rellie's. Color turned out great and the can goes pretty far. Everything that is silver on the setup was done with one can and I still have some left. As always scrub-er-clean before you shoot!
