WLEVIC, that is one sharp red truck. What red did you use? Did you re-chrome the bumpers or are the repop's?

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks
This truck originally belonged to site member "bazooka", he sold it to member "way2lo". Send a PM to way2lo, he finished the truck.

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks
Go easy on me JB, I sold a 1960 F100 to buy this 66 C10. Actually, that was a big load for my F150. I should have taken the F250 7.3 Liter Diesel. When Chevy makes a diesel as good as the 7.3 liter I will ditch my F250 and F450.

What do you all think? White walls or the old centerlines?

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks
I've always favored hot rods more than customs, but with the coloring of your truck and the light interior I think it looks much better with the whitewalls. They make it look timeless rather than dated.

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks
I agree with both of you. I actually really likem both. Once I finish getting the 63 long bed painted. The white walls are going back on it.

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks
Get some Crager SS', and use the white walls with them. But I like the Centerlines too.

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks
It was a beautiful morning out so we went scouting for more local trucks. These were all spotted near Spokane Valley and Millwood.
A 63 with a nice grille: Couldn’t tell what year truck was storing the refrigerator in back: What appeared to be a very nice 60-63 GMC big truck: A smaller 64-66 flatbed: A pretty nice big window 64-66: This one was a little rougher: A dead fleetside on the ground: And from what could be seen a pretty decent 1963 stepside: |
