Re: Post Pics of your Static Drops!!
Hey neighbor, cool truck! Hard to tell on my phone, but looks like a 8 lug truck. I just picked up a 62 3/4 ton. What did you do to drop it up front?

Re: Post Pics of your Static Drops!!
Hahah...I like it! I've cranked mine down til its riding on the bumps. I'm wanting to go lower, so working on how best to do it. My brother has a 62 6 lug axle and I may swap the 8 lug out for it if it has a more highway friendly gearing and do a crossmember swap up front.

Re: Post Pics of your Static Drops!!
I'm sure it will on big bumps, there's probably 2" or a little less between the axle and the frame. I only live a few miles from the shop we worked in but it didn't bottom out on the drive home. I'll have a notch kit when I get home today that will go in. My brakes were acting up on the way home, not sure what changed in the brakes yet, so I didn't drive it too hard to see if it would hit.

Re: Post Pics of your Static Drops!!
Would anyone like to have a guess if my truck has been lowered or changed at all?
It's got a small rake and standard spindles etc (running 4x drums). How do I tell if it has lowered springs? As I'd like to lower it a little bit more in the near future. Rolling on 255/70/15 tires |

Re: Post Pics of your Static Drops!!
Thanks mate, just thought I'd double check and get someones opinion! Looking to only drop it a little, so will prob just use lower springs/shocks all round and see how we go. Disc brakes are on the list in the future, so will prob get spindles etc then

Re: Post Pics of your Static Drops!!
To me it looks like it has a small rake. It might be dropped 2" in front.

Re: Post Pics of your Static Drops!!
Thanks fellas. Looking to tackle the suspension in the next few months.
And with me being so far away in New Zealand, kind of need to get it right first time as it's expensive shipping down here! haha |

Re: Post Pics of your Static Drops!!
Here's my drop, 2.5" drop spindle and 2" coil drop up front. Back is 4" lower coils. Pretty much offsets the large 22" rims. Sits more or less stock height of 31" to the fender.
