Chevy,

It's not actually in the engine compartment. If you take the cowl off (between the windshield and the hood), you'll see a piece on the passenger side that connects to the heater box. That should unscrew from the engine-compartment side (after you remove the heater box) with a couple of screws.

It's just a sheet-metal shroud that fastens to the firewall and prevents rain from splashing into the heater.

there is still parts left there is the motor, fenders, gas tank and front bumper

Hello-
New to the site... this is my first time on the board
Is the back bumper step or chrome blade-type? I'm not interested in a step bumper.
if it is the chrome blade, is are the brackets set up for coil rear or leaf rear?

the steering wheel has a couple of stress cracks in it but it's nothing that can't be fixed i'll sell it to you for $25
