Im pretty sure gm doesnt make them anymore, might try to find a 83-85 Camaro or Monte Carlo to get one.

well, I can tell the valve covers arent stock. those are early 70s LT-1 Vette & Z-28 units, & the intake doesnt appear to be stock. so...its very likely the air cleaner isnt stock for the truck either

i originally had a 305 h.o. in my truck before i chipped a piston and it would stomp the engine ive got in right now n do better on gas , but i guess whoever rebuilt the engine also put in flat top pistons in it also so that gave it more umph i guess.

The top hat is stock for the air cleaner but the bottom dual snorkel part Im not so sure of. Im also thinking that 1984 is a little early for O2 sensors also.

They woulda had O2 sensor on cars in 84 (computer controlled carbs & distributer), but oddly, if you look close you can see the vacumm pot on the distributer.
Your right, the air cleaner lid is correct for the truck...but the base is from a camaro or Monte SS

You guys are sharp!

The Corvette valve covers, aluminum intake, and aluminum water pump are all GM parts that I purchased new at the local dealership. The breather setup is original and came on this truck from the factory. Well sorta. I added the driver's side fresh air intake to make it a dual snorkel. I used all GM parts except for the decal on the lid and the foam rings on the ducts. The decal is for a mid-eighties Camaro fender and the foam rings are shop-vac filters.

The 02 sensor is a dummy. I used Camaro exhaust manifolds because they had a larger outlet and flange. Thanks for posting the pics for me.

My truck has 36 factory options and 2 dealer installed items but it does not have a H.O. 305 L69 engine. I don't think they came in trucks but I never say never. I've seen GM do some strange things.

Vin can help to tell what is was factory installed. Until I can get some numbers of the block or some pictures its pretty much guessing. So far its a 305 - 700r4 from whats been stated but need to dig a little deeper to get the facts.

84 Pumpkin, I knew there was too much of a chance with not that being factory. It is a nice clean job tho. But after looking at it things just started screaming at me, that didnt look correct for it.
