Tom, Im using a product called Filon, its basically the same stuff as the new trailers have, but its not laminated to plywood. Nice and white, a good base for a funky paint or graphic job.

If Michael ( aka lowburb , or the brother in law) doesn't hurry up and work on the "Burb" , they will have no choice to park near me because I will have to pull their trailer around for them.
More progress done, exterior is pretty much done, just have to figure out a way of doing the fender skirts, anyone have any ideas??. Put the seats I got off Ebay in the front, even wired them up, electric seats are pretty cool. Most of the electrical is done, just a couple more wires for the lights, but I run out of wire tonight. have most of the walls insulated, finish those little things up tomorrow night , then start on the water system.

Man that looks tight on the back wheels, Hope you never have a blowout or flat tire, Looks like it would take off the side of the camper if it blew.

Darren,
Looks great! You have done so much on it since the last time I saw it!!! I like the look of the Filion. Keep at hard at it and maybe you will be enjoying the fruits of your labor when camping season arrives. I wouldn't mind giving you a hand on it as I owe you big time for the wood. Talk to you next week. Curt

I know how it,its funny how when you start tearing stuff apart how easy and quickly it can be done, but when you have to start putting it all back together how expensive and time consuming it can be.

Had to move this off page 25 before I loose it.
Havent been able to work on it much, but the electrical and the plumbing are almost done. got most of the walls insulated, just the roof left. hopefullly I will be able to cover up the walls soon, Im getting tired of seeing all that crap, and make it look a little more presentable. I even put the seats out of a 2004 pickup in the cab, talk about comfort. Ill post pics on sunday night of the progress of the weekend. Darren

Where did the mustang go? Its not in the picture behind the Desoto. Did you Ebay it, or sell it private? Did you get what you wanted dollar wise?

Wow! This is a blast from the past! I had forgot about this build. I hope someone on the board is able to get it and finish it.
