Tom, I was wondering about that fender too. I noticed the newly posted seat pictures show a reflection where the bead is supposed to be. It is difficult to tell from the pics whether they have the welt bead or not. It looks legit but with only 16,000 miles those valve covers and the engine look well serviced. It would be fun to see in person.

What is the thing with the yellow wire or cable going to it in the left side engine pic? Is it a criuse control?
One more question-why is the window washer res. where it is? Because of the dual batteries or the other thing (criuse)? $18,000? That's like only 4 times what it cost new ![]()

That's the vinyl pattern commonly found in 67's. I have a set of those too.

This '68 GMC also has the power steering components last available on '67 Chevys too. What does that tell you...always the poor step child of GM...using left over or obsolete parts. Let the flamers begin...LOL!

The washer bottle is there becouse of the aux battery. However, what is that circuit breaker or what ever it is doing there to the right of that bottle??
And nit picking a little...has anyone ever seen the master cylinder painted like that? And the valve covers do look freshly painted don't they? That yellow thing does kinda look like a speedo cable going to the cruise control...but it sure isn't original (nor listed or mentioned) stllookn, the integrated power steering was introduced in mid 68, so you probably have an early one there. And look...another circuit breaker added on this pic too... Last edited by Longhorn Man; 08-21-2005 at 09:58 PM. Reason: it's the voices... I'm tellin you they won't shut up |
