Re: Progress Pics
I like your truck. My 67 has the original look . My 68 I also had to put wheel spacers in the rear only for my twenties. I thought the front would be the issue with the bigger rims and turne out to be the rear.

Re: Progress Pics
Thanks! I have big plans for it, I just have to find time to get everything ordered up for my bags and get it into paint. Finally have the money but no time. It's either one thing or the other, but I still can't get the darn thing done.

Re: Progress Pics
7/23/06:
Started bagging the truck today. My buddy Mike came over and we mounted the (2) 3-gallon tanks, the compressor, relay, water trap, and started the plumbing on the rear. About a month ago we installed the c-notch out back, and that alone made a huge difference in the ride quality. I have yet to bottom out the rear with a 6" static drop out back. Here's what I got going in: (2) 3-gallon tanks, (8) SMC 3/8" valves, 3/8" airline, water trap, relay w/built-in shut-off switch for the Viair 380c compressor, Slam Specialties 7" RE200 bags, 3 gauges (2 dual needle white-faced KP's for the bags and (1) single-needle for the tank.. I'm going to have to cut down the front cups to probably 1/2"-3/4" of lip. We installed the super track bar out back when we did the notch. Oh, since you guys like pics so much here ya go!

Re: Progress Pics
Even though the compressor has rubber feet on it, I felt it was a good idea to mount some rubber strips between the feet and the frame for extra vibration damping.

Re: Progress Pics
I've gotta give props to my buddy Mike for all the time he's spent helping me. What goes around comes around I guess. I got up hung over yesterday morning to go pick him up on the side of I-4 after he blew a rear tire on his S-10. The carcass folded up his rear quarter pretty bad. And there's nothing like changing a tire on the side of a busy interstate that's under construction. We moved some of the construction barrels out into the road behind the truck to ward off any drifting tourists.

rear bagged:
The front should be done by later today if all goes well. I'm headed out to the garage to finish it now.

Re: Progress Pics
What's holding it up.......
Front inner fenders (will be getting cut out) Rear: It's just a c-notch, but I've only got 1-1/2 blocks, and have 2" blocks on order, then I'll have to notch the bed for the pumpkin.
