Re: lets see your collection
Greetings from across in the cold damp UK, not so easy to own a big fleet as car ownership is quite expensive, although I may also be adding a tractor to this list over at my house in france as I have three acres of rough grass to keep in order.
Heres my truck 67 long fleet My daily driver, 1991 Isuzu Trooper 4x4 2.8 turbo diesel and the wifes car, 2004 Landrover Freelander TD4 Diesel.

Re: lets see your collection
Hey Lippyp, how do you like driving the Chevy around over there with the wheel on the left? My Dad was in the Air Force and stationed there and I spent my freshman - senior years at Lakenheath Air Force Base High School ('60-'62) and I drove my Dad's car there and one thing for sure, You had a hard time passing if you are behind a big truck. You could not see if anything is coming unless you have a passenger to let you know. I got use to it. (driving on the left side). England is a beautiful Country. Do they still call the bad boys (teddy boys)? I think that is what they were called when I was there. Nice little collection you have there. Have you ever been to Kings Lynn? We lived there for a while.

Re: lets see your collection
Nope, never been to kings lynn but my truck did come from Norfolk, it's quite possible that it came over with a serviceman and stayed when he went back. My old flatmate had a US spec VW Rabbit (golf as we called em) that he bought from a USAF guy at Greenham Common. I don't really find it a problem driving over here, it's just a technique you get used to, look up the inside and stay well back! Ironically I spend a lot of time driving my RHD trooper over in France so I'm again on the wrong side!
Teddy boys died out a long time ago or are all drawing their pensions, now we just call em Chavs! (I guess in the USA they would be what is probably very politically incorrectly called Poor white Trash!)

Re: lets see your collection
I would think it would be hard now that you have the tunnel from England to France then having to somehow changing lanes from driving on the left to driving on the right in France.

TX Firefighter, it is the church in White settlement. I live on the street that dead ends on the SW side of the field. You can usually see me from the freeway.

Re: lets see your collection
Here is my stuff:
The yellow car is a 1972 Malibu I bought in 1984, 2 weeks before I had a driver's license. It has working AC (R12). I put a 350 in it in 1989 in place of the 307 which I still own. In the late 90s I put power disc brakes on it from my (RIP) 1971 Monte Carlo. I kept the old, non-power brake stuff. I don't have a better picture on this computer. A plane jane 1972 307 Malibu, built in June of 1972, with manual drum brakes isn't worth much in 2005 but it isn't for sale either. Some day, with all the cloned SSes out there an all original Malibu will have some value. If it doesn't I don't care. Where is your first car? The blue car is a 1971 Malibu convertible I bought in 1989. It was red when I bought it. I saw my favorite color hiding under the poor resale red paint job. I quickly restored it to the original Medium Blue Metallic. It is all original except for the repaint. The original 307 with working factory AC (R12) are still all there. It also has power drum brakes. This is the first car I ever saw with power drums. The truck I just put a new hood and fender on. Because they turned out so well I'm stuck having to paint the rest of the truck now. I was only stopped this fall by weather too cold to paint in.
