Re: Restarting project
Well I guess I was about right. I was able to get the wheels and tires mounted, the tape off, and I was able to take a few pictures. I had to help with some other projects and everyone got a late start today. This is all until next week. I appreciate all the great compliments. There is still quite a bit to do and the money is low. I'm hoping to get it home by the end of next week, and then add pieces as $$$ allows.

Re: Restarting project
That's killer NuBomb! You and the others get so much done, I'm jealous, but your faithful posts/pics keep me dreaming of the day mine sees paint.

Re: Restarting project
Thanks for all the compliments. Got back at it today, but forgot to bring the camera. There wasn't much change anyway. I got the inner fenders sprayed black and did some work on the frame and under the hood. Hope to get the front end back on tomorrow and line up the fenders and hood. Only thing left is to align the doors, paint the rollbar and swing-away black. More tomorrow.

Re: Restarting project
I got so fed-up trying to align all the parts, that I quit taking pictures. The hood and cowl panel are the only original sheetmetal left on it. The lines are o.k. now and it is now at home. I'll try to take some new shots soon. Now that I'm out of money, things should slow. I think I'm going to buy a painless kit and replaced the cobbled-up mess I have now.
