Unless he changes his mind he is going to run Billet Specialties "VinTec" 20's. I'll let him fill you in on the backspace info....

Re: What did you get done? Christmas edition

We (Stoked Out Specialties) are a dealer for Billet Specialties so that's the reason all my cars/trucks have them

The wheels that are going on the 68 are 20x8.5 with 5.75 BS for the front
and 20x10 with 4.75 BS for the rear. I'm getting Vintec's Deep Dish Soft Lips.

The motor got pulled out today so it could be detailed, I've got to stop before I tear it down to the frame!

Re: What did you get done? Christmas edition

I got the last dash billet piece so now my billet on the interior is all complete! I'll eventually get the billet pedals but I'll wait until it is no longer my daily driver so I won't wear the pedals out. I'll have to get pics (but It is dark already) with my new digital camera (bought it for myself for Birthmas {dec. birthdays will sympothize} a Nikon 7900.)

Re: What did you get done? Christmas edition

A buddy and I spend Christmas afternoon ripping apart the 14 bolt FF and Dana 44 in my K10 in preparation for 4.56 gears, front Detroit Truetrac and rear Detroit locker. The front Truetrac spinning 36” Superswampers is surely to wipe out a U-joint, an axle or something on the next wheeling outing.

I spent 4 hours and 7 beers tonight doing "manly dishes" in the solvent tank to clean all of the goods before reassembly.

Keith, I'm off for a few days.
Give me a shout when you get out to the shop. I wanted to see if Roger had a 'bolt-kit' for a sbc w/the poly v.covers.

Okay I'm lost here. Ken I thought you had the truck done and all the work like the FI engine was for the Blazer?

Brandon the truck "was" done, but that was last year. The motor was suckin gas, but not haulin @ss and starting to blow smoke on start up. I decided to replace the motor with a Ramjet 350. Of course one thing has lead to another...

The Blazer has had an LS1 in it for two years. It has been on stand by until the 77 gets "re-" finished....
