Dont report it to the insurance company, They will total it in a heartbeat, then want to sale it back to for more than they gave you for it.
Glad to hear your'e ok. I'm amazed at how well the old girl held up. Bet those F trucks cant do that, built chevy tough.

bummer on the truck , good that you wasnt serously hurt . one queston ,is gas tank in the cab , was thinkig about changing mine but if they can take a rollover and do well ....could be better than a rear hit ? glad your okay ..........

Seriously though, glad you are OK!! Trucks can have parts replaced, but arms and legs don't bolt back into place that easily.....

First of all, glad ur ok.The truck actually don't look that bad, to have been rolled over. Newer model vehicles in the same accident would look like crumpled tin foil. About the gas tank, I think in-cab tanks, are probably just as safe, if not safer than under cab tanks, especially the side-mounted ones(unless you have a leak and drop a lit ciggy back there or somethin, but that's a different story ). Also, you said the tire was dry-rotted a little, but I still don't think the tread shoulda seperated like that, who knows maybe you could sue them and get them to pay for the new cab.
