Re: Apaches Rule
The 700r is a great trans if you’re looking to make her to be a daily drive, as long as you get one with all the latest updates. The TH350 is a stronger, more reliable trans according to a few trans shops I talked to. That's why I went with the 350TH for that reason. But, in saying that, everyone has their option of good and bad with both.

Welcome aboard.
Well mine was white when I got it home, found baby blue and orange under it. Will be a dark blue if I ever get it done. Keep on trucking

Re: Apaches Rule
I paid $450 for my frame powder coated and that was a good deal. $425 sound like a great price to me. Keep in mind, that your frame will be completely media blasted so all the grime, rust & old paint will be removed. Also powder coating is tough stuff and will last many years! I know you won’t regret it if you do the powder coating. Just my opinion Jimbo.

Re: Apaches Rule
Thanks Cal, I Am Going To Shop Around For A Better Price. I Was Hoping To Get It Done For 300.00. Sigh, The Price Of Things Is Getting Outrageous.

Re: Apaches Rule
Just Picked Up A 58 Apache For 600.00 To Part Out. Looked Under The Hood When I Got Home Figuring To See Another 235 Straight Six. But Lo And Behold There Was The Big Block In It. Yee-hah Yes, A 430 Big Block Buick Motor (bastard Chevy) And 400 Turbo Transmission And Its Complete. So I Am Pulling It This Weekend To Start Ripping It Down. I`m So Happy, Oh So Happy
