Re: Celebrity 67-72 trucks on TV
So many cars, so little time, the 70Chevelle SS 454, the truck, the dodge, the Firebird who cares if they pretended to smoke some pot? Not like many of the late 70's early 80's didn't!!

Re: Celebrity 67-72 trucks on TV
There's guaranteed to almost always be a 67-72 driving around Hazard county in the Dukes of Hazzard. Also, I think one of Cooter's tow trucks is a 67-72.
I base my life on Dazed and Confused, I've even chased another car full of Freshman on the last day of Junior year. (except we had fire crackers)

Re: Celebrity 67-72 trucks on TV
They use a well used 71-72 flatbed in the CBS show Jericho. I think we see more of them more often because we notice them as a result of our close connection with these trucks.
My 2 cents.

That's my kind of criminal. No truck is worth killing someone. Seriously injuring, maybe.

Re: Celebrity 67-72 trucks on TV
i was watching Scarface the other night and I caught a glimpse of a '68 with a utility body cruising down an offramp over "freedomtown" in the first 10 minutes of the movie.

Re: Celebrity 67-72 trucks on TV
There's some financial (i think?) commercial where a 67-72 is pulling up to a barn - some woman is on a farm, i think a dog is in the truck with her, and she's telling the man (her husband) that she found something.
can't remember for the life of me what it's for - but every time i see the commercial, i notice the truck and try and figure out what it is quick before it goes away.

Couldn't agree with you more Bob. Stacy David knew his stuff. Those guys on there now are worse than the parts store clerks.

Re: Celebrity 67-72 trucks on TV
That new movie "Stick it" based on gymnastics (my girlfriend made me watch it) has a sweet 67-72 suburban they drive throughout the whole movie. My girl was soo pissed that I kept talking about the truck while watching "her chick flick". It drove me crazy everytime they showed the truck driving with the characters inside, they never took it out of park it must have been on a trailer or something.
