Re: Just need to vent a bit!

Let me say something about justice.

This country was set up with the notion that you could do what you want as long as you did not injure (physically or financially) another person.

If you did injure, you made the other person whole. If you did not make the person whole then the person injued could submit a cause of action to a court of common pleas. The justice would decide if you could not work it out.

Now the state gets involved...I mean why should they get involved and get some money if you got hit? As long as the other guy made you whole?

Why does the state get money when you speed and get caught by a revenue...oops... peace officer? Why whould the state get something...were they injured?

OK...I will go back to my Constitution study group.

Tim

Re: Just need to vent a bit!

Trust me it could be alot worse. The day my dad died someone in the hospital parking lot hit my truck right on the passenger side corner of my bed and put a nice crease in it and screwed up where we had shaved the taillights. No note or anything. I think I out cussed the whole US Navy that day. Took the better part of the next saturday to fix too. Glad to hear things came out alright.

Cool, Shotgun back in the safe and shells safe and sound in the cabinet. Glad to hear it worked out... too bad the kid didn't man up at the incident. Although he could have been worried you may have been one of those raving lunatics that blows off at the slightest little thing and feared for his life.
