Re: White soft Top
You can find a hard top for junk and cut the leading edge that clamps/screws onto the windshield frame and attach the leading edge of the softtop to that. No holes in windshield frame!!

Re: White soft Top
The Softopper top has an optional windshield rail that has the snaps already installed.
I think you have to drill 5 holes total. I have it installed, it works perfectly. I didn't want to drill holes either, but frankly there is no other option that makes sense. I'm not carrying an old cutoff of my top around with me ;-) I like the Softopper top.....I gave my hard top away.

Re: White soft Top
How is it for water seal and wind noise? I'm not expecting it to be as tight and dry as a 2008 Caddy, but how is it?

Re: White soft Top
Been winter here so no rain and I haven't driven it in the snow so I can't report on watertight, but I expect it to leak some....it's not a hard top. (even those leak)
As for wind, very good really. They give you a piece of weatherstripping to put on the window header and it seals above the windshield and the side windows have flaps....actually pretty wind tight even at highway speeds.
