Re: How about some pictures of '73-'87 LOOOOONG BEDS

*gasp!* after I finish the body work, I get to take my baby to maaco and get a custom paint job (ghost flames on a dark dark charcoal with a burple pinstripe). its weird that they painted such beauties with such an ugly color eh m8?

But for me chrome is better then stock or painted anyday in any way.
I bet you could get it for $3000. Its been for sale for 3 years.

Re: How about some pictures of '73-'87 LOOOOONG BEDS

Just picked her up yesterday for 650$

Hope to have her on the road soon too. A few minor things like brake lines and getting it to stay running, then she "should" be good.

Best $500 I've ever spent!

Re: How about some pictures of '73-'87 LOOOOONG BEDS

1986 GMC Sierra Classic. $1350 Brought this one to my house- literally...the guy drove it here for me when I told him I'd buy it. 86,000 miles.

Cab corners are wasted, but I already bought the panels to replace them. Rest of the body is in surprisingly good shape. (Body work is my thing, so that's a no-brainer.) Lowering is next in the to-do list after I fix the leaky exhaust.

Personally, I prefer the long beds, rather than the step-sides or the short-boxes. Especially when they are lowered. Low, long, and mean looking.
