Re: Stretched 72

That silver one was in Custom Clasic Trucks a year or so ago. I will look back in my issues and see if I can find it. but I remember he stretched it 6 inches thru the doors (and rest of cab of course) Anyway it looked factory he did a nice job.

More likely to be an 05 issue.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Re: Stretched 72

Here's some images of a truck that my friend Bob is working on. The cab, floor, and doors have all been stretched 4-5 inches. Plus the floorboars we moved forward under the dash to provide more leg room. You can also see how he changed the angle on the back of the cab as well .

I also moved the floorboard forward in my truck as well. I can take some pics tonight if people want them as well.

Let me know

Clint

Re: Stretched 72

Bob Grant is a metal working maniac and a really great friend. He is truely the biggest unheard of builder if there ever was one. The crazy thing is he's always coming out with new and crazy ideas as his skills progress. I'm just glad his one of my buddies, and I have a " Bob Grant Piece" sitting in my garage ..... hahaha

The "milled" solid 4-link bars look COOL! Show more pics of the "Grant masterpiece",... please!?! It may not be everyones cup of tea,... but I think it's going to be sweet.

Re: Stretched 72

How do you go about streching the doors? I thought about the floor pan but was stuck on the pedels.
