Re: parting out 1988 & 1989 suburbans. Both TBI 350/700R4

My question about your climates down there.... Are they highly humid climates are dry climates? Up here in Anchorage it's a dry climate even though we are right at sea level at the top of turnagain arm. So even in the winter it doesn't feel as cold as it actually is.
However I know from previous experiance (U.S.ARMY-Ft.Knox, Ky) that high humidity in the cold weather makes the cold zap straight through to the bone in a heartbeat. And that is the kind of cold I can't stand!!!

assuming they have barn doors. I need the LOWER latch assembly for a Burb Right door, just like the one I JUST scrapped on the 84.
it's the same on all RIGHT SIDE barn doors on burbs and vans in the 73-91 range. It attaches with (4) #3 phillips head screws from the underside of the door. let me know. I'll be waiting.

If i end up going out to where the suburbans are I will get that part for you.

If anyone else needs something and can wait until it gets a little warmer out side let me know what you need. Or I might even have the part in my shed in the back yard. Let me know.

red 02, do you know a chevy truck guy in Lubbock named shawn dickey? He's related to the Scoggin-Dickey Gm dealers somehow. if you do PM me please.

Do either of these have the plastic windshield pillar trim used for installing a headliner? I'm not picky about the color just looking for parts that aren't cracked. Thanks

Do you have the fuse block cover for the bottom of the dash by your left knee, and the panel next to it that covers the bottom of streering colum? Color does not matter, just as long as they are not cracked or have busted plastic tabs. If so how much with shipping and how do you want to be paid?

If I go out to where the Suburbans are, I'll check those parts out for you. But, it will probably be another month or so until I part them out. It's still a little too chilly here for me. Hell, it snowed this morning.

When it gets warm, if you have both L&R brake light lenses could you give me a price on those and the other things I asked for shipped. Thanks

Re: parting out 1988 & 1989 suburbans. Both TBI 350/700R4

Looking for a couple of things.
1. Need bulb and holder for "check engine light" behind cluster.
2. Cruise control cable from diagram to tbi.
3. Window motor passenger.
4. Rear door handle.
5. Not sure if you want to cut wiring harness but behind the four row switches for the power windows need the connector and 6" of wiring unless it is easy to remove complete cable.

Shipping to Plano,Tx 75093
