I walked in to a local Zellers store (a Canadian version of K-Mart) and there was a red one and a blue one on the shelf.
That was back in August.

I got a red, yellow and blue one at Target. I have also seen them on eBay, from time to time.

Re: New Thread like on 67-72 for Diecast & Collectibles

I don't collect truck stuff specifically, but I collect so much stuff generally that I'm bound to have a few things. I can't really even remember everything that's hanging around boxed up.

You probably can't tell, but way down on the far left bottom corner of this case is a green '66 promo:

And in the middle of this picture is a red '60 Dealer promo:

I do know I have the original boxes for both of those. I've got a lot of that newer stuff that's in this thread, but a lot of it is so buried it may never see the light of day again.

Those are available at Target in the midwest. I have also seen them on eBay. I have the red, yellow and blue ones. Good luck with your search.

I found these cool ’62 Chevy Hotwheels 2008 First Editions tonight at Wal-Mart in Lansing, MI. I grabbed every one I could find too….

Hopefully, the hotel maid doesn't steal them out of my suitcase tomorrow....

Re: New Thread like on 67-72 for Diecast & Collectibles

those hot wheels are my new favorite casting,I can't wait until they start using them for limiteds with real riders and better paint jobs.
I bought 6 of them when I first found them, that same night I also found 3 treasure hunts, and 1 super trea$ure hunt,I should have been excited about the treasure hunt score, but all I could think about was getting home and opening my new 62 truck!

Must be a few variations out there. Yours has an extra gold stripe on the top, gold surf board, and gold wheels. Mine the surf board is black and the wheels are silver.

they will change the paint and wheels on the hot wheels over this year, while it is still a first edition.
This is thier gimmick to get you to buy more than one.
