Very nice. Might consider adding chrome dust shields to hide the mechanics behind those prettys.
Don't lose/misplace your filler adapter, getting a replacement from those guys is no small feat.

I am definitely jealous . Those look great . I think that the top right picture is a neat shot . The cooling fins from the brake drum are reflecting in the wheel lip and give the wheel the appearance of grooves between the spokes . Nice purchase . Frank

Re: Coys on order !! how long should it take??

Got them last week, took about 16 days.

This first pic was right after I got them. I just stuffed them up in there to see what it was going to look like.

This is with the front end down fully aired out and sitting on fender wells.

Mounted with new disc conv.

Re: Coys on order !! how long should it take??

I like mine. They took about 3~4wks order-to-ship time.

I would prefer something from the good ole' USofA. But, I couldn't find any 20's w/the grey or as-cast type center that were in my price range. I love my TT2's but they were a PITA to keep looking nice when used/abused daily.

Coys also substituted different back-spaced rear wheels vs. what I ordered. I called about it & they said that was what they had in stock so they went ahead & shipped them so I wouldn't have to wait (I told him that could get expensive for them if the BS didn't work). He said try them & if I wasn't happy, he would ship 2 more w/the correct BS & that I could send these back. They fit so I'll keep them as is . . .....

Yes, they are grey centers. It's probably just the flash on the cam that makes them look lighter. They are darker in person.

The interference is the center cap of the wheel w/the spindles castle-nut cap. The issue is common on many aftermarket wheels (apparently because they've never installed a set of their wheels on a C10 ).

I'm making thin spacers for mine that will go under the center cap. Another alternative is using wheel spacers behind the wheel.

SCOTTI
Thanks for the reply. i was wondering what the "thickness" of your spacer is?? is it noticible once installed from say about ten feet?? i for some reason was thinking that it was only related to the 67-72 era trucks. i guess cuz that is were i thought i remember first hearing about it...

thanks!

Wished I would have gotten the 315's for the rear but the guy at Coys talked me out of it.

Why would you have gone with the 315's instead?

For some reason, pics with an unfinished cab on a fully detailed frame/engine look rad.

Looking good, redrat ...

More meat! Plus I like for the wheel/tire to come out as far as possible. I'm tucking mine with bags, but I dont like when the wheel sits too far in from the fender edge. I like for the tire to be about .5"-.75" from the inside fender lip.

How much did you mini-tub it? If none, that .5 -.75 depth won't be a prob w/a 10" wide wheel & a 295 tire.

2.5" mini tub. I've got 5.5" BS on the rear wheels which sucks, but they did not have th 5". I'm about 2-2.5" from the inner lip right now. I hate the way it looks too. If I would have gotten the 315's it would not be as noticable, and that is the main reason I wished I would have gone with 315's.

I've got some .5" spacers on it right now, but I'm thinking of 1.25" spacers after I get my backhalf done. I might have to massage the inner lip, but it would look sweet with the wheel out as far as it will go and still tuck. The fronts are perfect, they come right to the edge of the inner lip.

That's my main complaint: They sent me 5.50BS when I built my tubs for 5.00BS. Luckily there's still .750 - 1" of clearance between the inside wall of the tire & the tub wall so instead of the hassle w/sending them back, I'll just use 'em (they still fit well).
