Re: Wanna turbo charge your 250??
Have you thought about making a cross-flow head? I think that is the next step, cuz you can only port that 250 head so much.

Re: Wanna turbo charge your 250??
With forced induction I am thinking that will "fix" the flow problem, wouldn't it? It is a pain to get air in and out from the same side but boost should aid in cylinder filling, at least in theory. How do you "make" a cross flow head, BTW?? I need to do my L6 homework, I know!

You take 2 V8 heads, cut 2 cyl's out and weld them together.

Re: Wanna turbo charge your 250??
Good morning guys, should have better pics today with a couple of different angles. The turbo is mounted to the engine with home made brackets. We are using the camaros "clamshell"type factory motor mounts. My nephew made a video of it turning up with his phone and emailed it to me and for some reason my computer wont open the file.id gladly send someone that video to see if they can open it up

Re: Wanna turbo charge your 250??
Please dont get offended but it looks like you have the carb set up before the turbo, to me it looks like you are going heat up an air/fuel mixture by passing it through the turbo. wouldnt that cause a fire or worse?

Not at all. Here is another example. The factory Pontiac 301 Turbo setup.
