Not to change the subject, but has anyone used the tubing? how is it?
I know some people have also used pvc pipe. Which is what I was thinking of using. Anyone here done that?

I've never used that pipe, but watching them instal in on Truck-U it looked pretty easy, but TV can be deceiving. The cool thing is, you can order an entire kit to your specs. I've done PVC before and it worked great, I don't know the cost difference but it may be well worth it for the time saved.

Re: Garage Toy
I would not buy anything under 20hp in a rotory screw, the price to maintain, and run them is very expensive as opposed to a piston unit. You can buy a 7.5hp piston for alot less.

Re: Garage Toy
I have ran very large amp (80-100 AMP) usage CNC machines on rotary phase converters ... no problems, but as already mentioned the good ones are expensive.
