Re: slammed crewcabs

nice trucks... bu tot be different when i get around ot building one, im going to drop it, probably static. and run stock size tires.. imnot into the big tires, they look good, but not my cup of tea... definatly need it to haul a load and pull a over loaded trailer from time to time...

Pig Rig those wheels look cool as heck. Does it bother you that so much material was removed? It looks like they would be prone to breaking.

no, not really each wheel is good for like 10,000 lbs before they were cut. the truck only weighs 6500lbs and all I had cut out was between each hole to give them the slot look and its a hell of alot easier to clean

Re: slammed crewcabs

Cool! I just remember when Boyd and some of the other wheel guys were cutting Alcoa's back in the 90's. Alcoa sent out a warning to all tire and wheel distributors that they would take legal action against anyone cutting their wheels and reselling them. They were cracking and did not want to be liable for them.

Are those 22s or 22.5" ? I wouldn't think you could get 22.5 low pro tires.

Re: slammed crewcabs

So of all of these crewcabs I wonder why there are no 73-80 crew cab short beds? I hope mine turns out looking ok, I've always been a fan of the 81-87 front ends but thought I would try and be a little different.
