Re: Where are the stockers?
Ha ha ha, so true!
I really like the 4wd trucks, someday I will restore something to stock, I'm just not ready to do it yet. I'm going to wait until my knees give and I can't step down into a truck anymore. Last edited by PrerunnerRob; 11-12-2008 at 12:46 AM. |

Re: Where are the stockers?
that is one way of looking at it,
i don't look at it that way, when i'm putting my blood sweat and tears into something, i'm not thinking what i will be able to get out of it. adding dropped coils or spindles doesn't alter the vehicle, you can always go back to stock. completely bolt on. that is like saying you adding later model wheels ruins the truck.

Re: Where are the stockers?
4dranch- You know what's funny is that my truck was originally the same color as yours...except it was the two tone dark green with light green.

I saw this truck at a car show at the Cullman, AL airport a few years ago. It is spectacular, for sure. I heard that it has since changed hands. Last edited by MikeN; 11-12-2008 at 04:13 PM. |

Re: Where are the stockers?
Not for mine, but here is a pic from 6066gmcguy.org. This is what mine originally looked liked, Just imagine the light green on the wheels for the upper body..

Re: Where are the stockers?
I would call our panel truck.. completely unrestored stock:
Was originally white.. then painted green with astroturf 'hair' sometime in the 70s and then with its last owner can-o-flaged by he and his sons.. they are Mopar fans.. so they didn't care if he was ugly. However, they were impressed that they couldn't kill it.
