Re: Squares in the snow.

Nice truck. I'll have to get a shot of my 4x4 here soon, now that I have it all back together. What are the specs on those tires?

Thanks...

Those are Superswamper Q78 x 16. Close to a 35.5 x 10.5, which is about an inch taller than a 9.00 x 16. I like the tall skinny tires for the type of wheeling I do. Pretty much need as narrow track as possible on a fullsize truck to fit on many of these old wagon trails in the mountains. The narrow tires also stay nicely put on the wheels when aired down to 10 psi.

Re: Squares in the snow.

Yep CT/RI got 12+" as well. I actually don't mind the snow.
Here's a couple shots of my '79 K30 - Great place for it huh - the plow is in an even better spot . Kinda pisses me off, because I could have been out making some serious $$, but I've been so busy at the shop I haven't had time to put the plow on.

I thought the shot of my BBW '55-'59 Cab was pretty cool too.

Re: Squares in the snow.

This was last year. That's about the most snow we've had in like 6 years... I love how people can't get to work and generally lose their minds when a little white stuff shows up.... it doesn't even have to stick to the ground and people are raiding the stores for all the bread and milk.

Re: Squares in the snow.

Kenny, I never noticed it before, but your windows have a blueish tint to 'em.

Yeah, they do.... It's normal tint, 35% but it's the blue-ish hued kind instead of the purple-ish hued one...

It's a snow fort with all the creature comforts. Including a front door.
